One of our members from Alaska has shown some interest in a group event to Niagara, perhaps early 2010. We need to see how many people have a passport.

This idea came to fruition late last fall and I have to wait until this coming spring to get the ball rolling. I am planning 3 urban hikes this spring. I did a short one last fall that began on the rocks at Lakewood Park, which then took us along the Lake and then we hiked to Caribou Coffee and then the Beer Engine for lunch. The 3 I have in mind for this spring are as follows: (1) Edgewater Park rock climbing followed by a hike thru the Detroit Shoreway, ending up at Happy Dog for lunch and drinks; (2) Brecksville Reservation rock climbing and hiking; and (3) The Cuyahoga Valley Random Hike.
