Hi everyone... I just posted a poll on the 20/30's site asking weather or not you would wear a matching shirt at Fall Ball. Please take a minute and answer on the pool so I know if it's worth doing it or not. I'd prefer you didn't reply directly to me on this, as it's much easier to tally results on the poll instead of getting 20 emails.

Please go here to get to the poll: http://singles.meetup...

Here are the details:

We are thinking of creating a cool "Fall Ball Meetup" tshirt for the group at PIB this year. I would print the design on iron-on paper, and then everyone would have to bring their own solid colored tshirt/sweatshirt with them. We can use the hotel iron to apply them to our shirts on friday. I'm thinking you'd probably bring a white shirt to keep it easy. And don't worry... the design would be cool. SO... if you are going to PIB this October, would you be willing to bring a plain shirt with you and then wear it with the group on saturday?

Let me know in the next few days! Thanks!

Hey Amanda, just to let you know, I do like the idea of having a t-shirt as a memento or souvenir but I'm not too keen on having everyone wear the t-shirt at the same time and place like a uniform.

Wearing matching T's can be fun and attract attention to us - if it's the right design, color ;)

I agree with Jason. I like the idea of a tshirt as a momento. I would probably wear it part of the day saturday, maybe in the afternoon.

OK, well it seems we have more yes's than no's, so the deal is IF I find time to design the decal this week I will get them printed and bring them with me. Don't worry... I'll email everyone by wednesday night to let you know for sure if you need to bring a shirt. Then people can wear them whenever they want. I was thinking saturday Day time would be good, cause I doubt people would want to wear them out to the bars at night (I know I dont!), but hanging out in the afternoon would be cool. No worries though... I'm not going to be the shirt Nazi!

Also, we've been debating between just a cool design with Meetup 2009 Fall Ball written in the design, or going with some kind of funny saying. Unfortunately we haven't come up with anything good for the saying part. So if you have an idea for what it should say let me know!!

The last one made me laugh. That would get some discussions started.
