All it was brought to my attention by 2 different people they did not get this email. I would never remove people's rsvp's without explaining what I was doing. I suspect there was a delay in the meetup site and meetup only emailed the people still rsvp'd yes after I made the changes rather then sending it to everyone that was rsvp'd when I sent the email. Anyway the room is sold out but we are still trying to put together a "day only trip" at a group rate, so sign up for that. The link is below.

This message is going to everyone that signed up yes or maybe for Kalahari. To avoid any confusion I am going to close off the event and change the rsvp of people that didn't pay up in time. I'll also create a waiting list; sign up there if you wish to be considered for the room should someone unexpectedly need to cancel. For those of you still interested in joining us for the day I also have created a "day-trip" only meetup. If there is more then 10 of you a group grate may be possible reducing the price from 42 to 29. This is what we did last year and had a blast, it's a very driveable trip about the same distance as going to Cedar Point..... and most people don't spend the night when they go to cedar Point.
Sorry to those that didn't get in but booking rooms at the Kalahari in the winter is a little like booking a place in Myrtle Beach during spring break. They aren't as accomodating to large groups because they know they will sell out anyway.
