    I Like Cheese

Posted by: John John on Aug 13, 2009

Baby gouda cheese balls. A big fat slice of muenster. A cheesy pizza from Pizza Hut. Cheese sticks, cheese dip, string cheese, cheese, cheese, cheese. I think an event where we stick our faces in cheese is a sure idea.

    Kings Island Amusement Park

Posted by: Marshall Marshall on Mar 1, 2010

Kings Island is a very fun park to attend. They not only have the big roller coasters (beast, son of beast, and everyones favorite - XFlight, which was taken from Geuaga Lake. There are also some smaller thrill rides, such as a Tomb Raider ride and an Italian Job ride. They also have a full water park included in the price of admission.

I went a few years ago and had a blast. I am trying to get a guage on how many people are intersted since this would involve an overnight stay. If this gets posted, I will look into what hotels are available, and discount tickets to the park. If we go for, we can drive up Friday afternoon, and go to either downtown Cincy or a casino friday night, spend saturday in the park, and then drive home sunday. It is approxamately 4 hours so carpooling will also have to be considered.

I am thinking sometime in August.

    Ski/Snowboard at Peak'n Peak

Posted by: Nina Nina on Feb 22, 2010

Before the season ends, let's hit a nice ski resort one last time. Located at 1405 Olde Road
Clymer, NY 14724, 110 miles from Cleveland. It's the best ski slope within 2 hrs. http://www.pknpk.com/WebModules/ServiceCategories/Snow.aspx?CID=6&SID=Winter

    Movie Night

Posted by: Emily Mantooth Emily Mantooth on Feb 22, 2010

We all meet at someones house and bring a movie to vote on and a snack to share with the other people. we all vote on what movie we want to watch (can't vote on your own) after a brief sales pitch and watch the movie. then we can rate the movie and critique it. We can get as basic or obscure as we would like. I have premade critique sheets from another movie club from my family.

    Chicken Run

Posted by: Kevin Kevin on Oct 21, 2009

The Giant Eagle in my area has a guarantee on whole cooked chickens for $4.99. between 11-8 pm your chicken is guaranteed to be there OR they give you 8 pieces of fried chicken for $4.99 and a coupon for a free chicken the next time you stop in. I say we make a chicken run! The most they have is 2 or 3 chickens after 7pm with none cooking! If we all showed up no way they could have enough chickens for everyone! Then we could go somewhere and have a feast on chicken!

A better date for Live Band Karaoke?

Posted by: Jason Jason on Mar 8, 2010

Okay, so nobody likes the live band karaoke idea? Seriously? More people responded to the chicken run idea and the fight night? Well, maybe St. Pat's is a bad day since it's on a Wed. and a lot of people made other plans already. How about Friday, March 26th from 9:30-1 instead? On that day it will be at the Purple Shamrock in Willowick (that's just 15 mins from downtown Cleveland for those who think the East Side is in another country or something). See www.RockCapitol.com for details.

Live Band Karaoke on St. Pats

Posted by: Jason Jason on Mar 6, 2010

The Boneyard in Mayfield is having a live band karaoke night on St. Patrick's Day, March 17. It's like regular karaoke except you sing with an actual band instead of a machine.
