The Spartan Swing Exchange (Sparx!) is the weekend long event
put on every year by the CWRU swing club. This is the third
year, and many people come from out of town. The dates are
Feb. 5-7.

The main dance with the Boilermakers Jazz Band is Saturday
night. The price for only this dance is $10. Pre-dance
lessons are included at 8:30 and the band goes on at 9 p.m.

Lessons also take place throughout the weekend and there are
welcome and good-bye dances. The entire weekend is $70, but
you can come for any parts or part you wish and pay by the
lesson. Everyone always has a great time!

More infromation can be found at filer.case.edu/org/swing by

Many people from in and out of town did show up for Sparx! It has become a very popular event in the last three years, and attendance was better than ever.

Kalahari & the weather may have hurt your cause here but people in town should show up! I know from experience that Brian is well known in the swing dance community and usually knows many of the people that will be there. He'll show you the ropes. You haven't really been swing dancing till you go with the Wasserman and you don't really know the Wasserman till you see him in his element at a swing dance!
