It's 2010 and I'm turning 29 so I thought I better celebrate since the world is ending in 2012. It's gonna be a night of partying in the city!

*** Event update 12-29-09 ***

The event will take place at Hooples in Cleveland! It's in a very unique and distinct location, sorta in the flats, hidden down on the fringes of Tremont in an old little area known by locals as Irishtown Bend. It's located at the corner of Franklin and Columbus, adjacent to the Cuyahoga River. The view of the city skyline and Cuyahoga River is priceless and has been named, "Best View of Cleveland"! I have rented out the entire second floor of Hooples for the entire night, a party room with a dancefloor and walls of windows overlooking Cleveland! We will be having our own private cash bar. I have arranged to have the following beers on hand: 16oz PBR, Great Lakes, Bud/Miller beers, "Mich Ultra" (for the girls watching their calories), and Corona. There will be countless beers on draft downstairs at the main bar, including Christmas Ale, Thirsty Dog, and many other good microbrews. The private cash bar will also have liquors, wines, and a "20's and 30's shot special". My bar upstairs is cash only (ATM is available), however, the main bar downstairs is cash or credit. You can drink at both bars if you like, but the party is private so outsiders won't be able to come up and overtake our bar. Foodwise, we will be having sheet pizza's from a nearby Italian pizza establishment in the Flats. There will be a smoker's patio for those who smoke.

There will be music and dancing. The main bar downstairs will also be open. There may be other surprises in store, so come on down, expecting anything to happen!

Kelly is helping organize this so she can answer any questions you may have leading up to the event. Bring a date, bring a friend, or come alone! All are invited to this 20's and 30's extravaganza!

(optional) but you're encouraged to dress down to the party!! wear dirty, ripped, industrial clothes. make it look like you just got off work at the steel factory down the street. i like it dirty.... i hate ties and trousers. sag a little bit and get wasted. for real!!!!!!! this is cleveland, it's the coldest weather, the most snow, ice, salt, and dirt ever you ever saw! there's a time to show your true fashion sense, but not in a blizzard! and come on, we're gonna be down in the industrial flats, it all makes sense! show your pride and show your colors! dirty, dirty, dirty! many guests will be dressing this style, so join in the fun!

Parking is free on Columbus, on Franklin, and in the parking lot across the street. It is FREE no matter where you park and I recommend parking on Franklin. Pizza will arrive at approx. 9pm from Sionato's. We have 48 yes, 26 maybe, plus another 10-20 off my Facebook invite, so this will be a jammed out event, I hope to see everyone there for a great time! Also say Happy Birthday to Denise and Greg who also had birthdays this week.

I have removed the Tremont Tap House from the pre-party at 5pm. The main party starts at 7pm at Hooples and runs till the end of the night. Pizza will be arriving at 9 and probably again at 12-1 for those who missed the first round.
